The BEACON's 10,000mAh battery holds enough power to fully charge an iPhone 15 approximately 2.5 times, a Samsung Galaxy about 2 times, or keep an iPad topped up through a full day of use. The dual USB-A ports and USB-C PD output let you charge up to 3 devices at the same time — phone, earbuds, and a smartwatch simultaneously, for example.

USB-C port delivers 20W PD fast charging. USB-A ports deliver 5V/2.4A each. Total output: 30W.

    1. Charge the power bank first.
Plug into any USB-C wall charger before heading out. A full charge takes around 3–4 hours and gives you 10,000mAh ready to go.

    2. Unfold the panels.
Snap open all three solar panels and angle them toward direct sunlight. The wider the angle to the sun, the more power you generate.

    3. Plug in your device.
Use the USB-C port for fast charging (phones, tablets) or the USB-A ports to charge up to 2 additional devices at the same time.

    4. Use the flashlight.
Press and hold the power button to activate. Press again for strobe. Press a third time for SOS signal mode.

    5. On the go?
Clip it to your bag with the carabiner, panels facing the sky. It’ll top up the battery slowly while you move — so you arrive with more than you left with

Yes. The BYSUN BEACON's 10,000mAh battery is rated at 37Wh — well under the TSA's 100Wh carry-on limit for lithium batteries. It is cleared for carry-on on most major airlines worldwide, including US domestic flights, EU carriers, and most international routes.

    • BYSUN BEACON solar charger (panels + power bank)
    • USB-C to USB-C charging cable (60W rated)
    • Carabiner clip for attaching to a pack
    • Quick-start guide

Wall adapter not included. The BEACON charges via any USB-C wall charger — the one you already use for your phone works perfectly.

Press and hold the power button to activate the built-in LED flashlight. A second press switches to strobe mode. A third press activates SOS mode — an internationally recognized distress signal pattern that flashes automatically. Release and press once to return to standard flashlight.

The flashlight draws minimal power from the battery, making it practical for extended use during outages. It's the feature we hope you never need — and the one that matters most when you do.

Every BYSUN BEACON comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, plus a 30-day no-questions return window. If it doesn't perform the way we describe — return it. Full stop.

    Questions? We provide answers.

The BEACON’s 10,000mAh battery stores enough charge to get you through multiple days of outages without any solar input at all. That’s the point — charge it at home before a storm hits, then use the solar panels to slowly top it back up when conditions allow. Think of the solar panels as a refill, not the primary source.

Most laptops require 45–65W to charge at full speed — more than the BEACON’s 20W USB-C PD output. It will charge most thin laptops slowly (MacBook Air, Surface Go), but won’t keep up with gaming laptops or workstations under load. For phones, tablets, and earbuds it’s perfect.

Lithium-ion batteries self-discharge slowly over time. Store the BEACON at around 50–80% charge in a cool, dry place and it will hold meaningful charge for 3–6 months. We recommend topping it up every 3 months if stored long-term — perfect for a go-bag you maintain seasonally.

Yes. Pass-through charging works — the panels charge the battery while the battery simultaneously charges your device. Output to your device takes priority, so solar tops up whatever’s left over.

Battery capacity drops in cold temperatures — expect roughly 15–20% less output below 32°F (0°C). The solar panels are unaffected by cold and actually perform slightly better in cool, bright conditions. Keep the power bank close to your body in extreme cold to maintain performance.

Glass blocks a significant portion of UV and infrared light — solar output through a window drops by 40–60%. Tent mesh varies but generally reduces output by 20–30%. For meaningful solar charging, panels should be in direct, unobstructed outdoor sunlight.

Completely silent. No fan, no moving parts. You can charge devices in a tent, a dark room, or next to a sleeping child without any sound.
